Mike Barnes-Fine Art

A native of Northern California, Mike received his Art training at Sacramento City College. Besides college he is primarly self-taught. His early paintings centered around Homesteads and Victorian homes of the Central Valley of California and Oregon.

After retiring from a career as a Graphic Designer Mike began looking for a new medium to explore. That's when he discovered Colored Pencils and the stunning detail artists worlwide were achieving. To share his talents he also began teaching High School Art, which he continues today.
